Legislative Theatre - Examples of good practice The Art of Legislation (United Kingdom, 1998)

In 1998 London hosted a series of workshops on legislative theatre, conducted by Augusto Boal. Working in different groups pointed out issues of housing (homelessness), education and transport. The proposals were symbolically discussed in the former Debating Chamber at County Hall that was closed down in the reign of Margaret Thatcher in 1993. It was an event attempting to show, how law can be made through theatre. Reference: Augusto Boal. (1998). The Art of Legislation.
